@operation.adventure: I do this thing every day where at 10 am I go to my photos app and type in THAT day in the search bar. I will go through all of my old photos and videos from that day in years past and delete silly things that I don’t want that are taking up placeholder storage in my phone. Today is August 30. Today I typed August 30 into my search bar and realized the past 7 years of Aug 30 have been some of our most formative memories of our lives. Aug 30, 2025: packing up to take a climbers route up the grand Teton August 30, 2024: climbed the Matterhorn in Switzerland after a previous failed attempt the week before! August 30, 2022: tried to climb Mt Moran for the first time and bailed about 500 ft from the summit August 30, 2020: climbed our first multi pitch in Yosemite national park!!!! One of my most memorable climbs to date! August 30, 2019: the day we got the keys to our travel trailer and hit the road… never looking back 😭 & today… while not on the top of a mountain or packing for an epic adventure, we still made a monumental, formative step in our lives.
