i accidentally ate moldy bread once but take god i spat it out after the first bite. it tasted like herbal medicine/minty. it was in big chunks aswell but i thought it was part of the bread

Its supposed to be refrigerated once opened so you either store it in the pantry or left it out once on the counter too long. Unless y’all double dip a spoon in it instead of pouring

This happens to me me once - but mine was in a clear bottle. Maple syrup unlike honey needs to be refrigerated - it can last a bit tho

I always refrigerate my organic maple syrup after opening it. Even if I do end up putting it in a glass bottle, I always refrigerate that shit.
