I’m from Ohio. We say the same about Michigan. We don’t say Michigan state/university or whatever, I don’t even know the proper name because I’ve never said it. Imagine if Republicans ever learn about Ohio’s “Hate Week” where every M is red taped over, or they’ll like it because MAGA is only ever hateful and think it’s for them.

Ohio native here. We refer to that school as “the school up north “and they refer to Ohio State as “Ohio”. That’s how arrival works and I am perfectly OK with it.
