Literally all visits to the vets.. when I had to put my elderly cat down I was sobbing hysterically then I was hit with a £450 bill for simply putting her down, and then they tell you that you gotta pay extra for a singular cremation, otherwise you’ll be taking home ashes that could belong to literally all the animals that were recently cremated 🤣 honestly don’t know how they get away with their prices atp

Tv streaming subscriptions. It’s kinda stupid to have to pay every month to watch tv instead of just buying the service outright. Like why can’t people just pay $100 and have Netflix forever?

CRANKY ONE :
Back during the early days of the pandemic I decided to grow a garden and do some canning. I had difficulty finding canning jars that weren’t ridiculously priced . I finally saw some on the web that pictured three cases (12 jars in a case) for $13 a case. I placed the order thinking it was for three cases. They were being shipped from China. I checked the tracking almost daily after about two weeks they arrived- 3 jars for $40. Fortunately I had used American Express. I spoke with customer service and they wanted to know what a reasonable value would be for the three jars. I said about $1.25 per jar. AE disputed the charge for the difference of about $36 and they were successful and I was only charged $4.00.

my landlord tried charging my rent from an old bank account instead of the one I told them to and tried to charge me $120 in fees for it. I got most of it waived and settled for paying $30.
