@justinpeterrss: Should you buy a $100 tracker from a dedicated fitness tech company, or from a multi-trillion dollar giant like Google? I put the Amazfit Helio head to head against the Fitbit Air to see which $100 band actually delivers real data. The results were surprising, especially when comparing sleep accuracy and native Bevel app integration. Watch the clip to see which one is actually worth your money today. #FitbitAir #AmazfitHelio #Whoop #BevelApp #HonestReview

The deciding factor for me was also the battery life. I’m getting on average 11 days out of the amaze fit.

I think you are wrong about Amazfit. I currently use only the Amazfit Active 3 Premium, and its sleep tracking is better than Garmin’s or Fitbit Air for me. It also provides almost Whoop-level sleep tracking despite being a watch. I use it every day, and so far it has not missed a single day. I am completely covered in tattoos, and, as with most Garmin watches, Whoop, and Fitbit, the watch can also have measurement problems on tattooed skin. Since I started using it on my right wrist, where there is a suitably sized area of clear skin, it has worked perfectly. Unfortunately, tattoos can interfere with all similar sensors. Before that, I used Garmin watches for around eight to ten years, so I have enough experience to compare them. I have sleep-maintenance insomnia, so I pay particular attention to waking up during the night. I also keep a sleep diary based on what I remember the next morning. Amazfit detects almost perfectly when I wake up during the night and how long I stay awake. Because of this, I have a fairly good real-world basis for checking the sleep data. For me, Garmin, Fitbit, and Oura are not even close to Amazfit in this regard. I used Whoop for 1,365 days, and after around one month of testing Amazfit, I reached the point where I felt I no longer needed Whoop. Amazfit provides the sleep and recovery information I actually need, and, for me, its sleep tracking is incredibly accurate. I also ride road bikes, and it works very well for that too. I still record my rides with my Garmin cycling computer. I simply download the activity from Garmin Connect and then upload it to Zepp, so I can continue using my Garmin computer without giving anything up. That is why I honestly do not understand some of the criticism aimed at Amazfit. I really appreciate how detailed your reviews are, and I have been watching your videos for a long time, but I feel that you sometimes criticise Amazfit for things that simply do not match what I experience in everyday use.
