🤍 Brooke :

I'm at the stage where I'm questioning what I believe in. I do practice witchcraft and I'm bordering on becoming a Hellenic Polytheist. I do find Hinduism a beautiful religion though. And in the most respectful way I really love specifically how kali maa is depicted. All though, I obviously will never work with her unless I do become Hindu, which at this point in my life I find unlikely.

Bcs racism, I'm not part of any religions, but everytime I came accross this "New Age Spirituality" content, they indeed picking any concepts from known "ancient belief system" that suits their own "lore", and it's often just rebranding Christianity. Sin became karma, prayer became mantra or manifestation, salvation became "you are the chosen one" thing. But the known ancient beliefs are not from white people or European original faiths (which ironically they often ignore except for Greek and Roman), so when you (POC) do it, it's "backward" and "primitive" but when they do it, it's "awakened"
