This leans very victim blaming. Trauma affects our nervous system and the roads that woven in our brain. That's when we need help finding the path out, not people blaming people for our struggle to heal.

I am a trauma survivor. The thought of healing is scary….. I’m so afraid to face that level of pain again. It’s almost easier to live with what I know.

To some it’s comforting. It’s your identity. It’s an addiction.

Some of us are very identity is the trauma because the abuse began so early while we were developing as human beings so it’s not that we like being stuck there it’s that that’s who we are and society doesn’t create the opportunity for many of us to re-create who we are, the tools are not there available to us or affordable to us.

Psychologist :
Some people spend many years defining themselves as victims or survivors. Over time, the trauma stops being merely an event that happened to them and becomes part of how they define who they are. In such cases, they may unconsciously feel that healing would mean losing a part of their identity or personal story.

Because we can’t nor able to know nor understand anything else. That’s not intentional it’s survival skill, that gives us daily purpose. Not many can understand.

healing is such a farse sometimes its annoying listening to really smart people who haven't gone thru a damn thing try to act like people can just heal some of us are dealing with some s and it prob won't get much better we just learn to cope and get numb to the pain after a while.
