If you are uk most flora is safe, catherdral city is the BEST vegan cheese no questions, Waitrose sometimes have some hidden gems

Violate slices are great for burgers! And their shredded stuff is also pretty good, sons of butchers notzerella is also GREAT!!! For cheese sauces deffo look up a cashew based recipe for Mac and cheese etc 😁 For butter I personally love flora - all their stuff is plant based I think!! nutritional yeast adds a cheesey flavour too foods!!!! and also black salt for egg with tofu! (i’m also trying to go vegan)

Flora buttery is the best every day butter but the flora block butter or the Natürli butters are very good as a treat. Violife Epic Mature is my favourite cheese, or the Apple wood Smokrd one

my best advice is stop eating cheese completely for a few weeks before switching to vegan cheese so u dont notice the difference too much & vegan lurpak is brill if ur loaded like that

Also if you’re making a vegan cheese toastie I highly recommend adding vegan mayo inside the sandwich as it helps the cheese melt better and goes really yummy and gooey

you can make many soorts of “cheeses”from nutritional yeast!! Its super cheap in the long run. I recommend looking up some recipes :)
