Guncle Tim, you have to look at the evidence in the case. Points more to the husband and his new wife (whom he was cheating with at the time of the murders). It isn’t just the PPD/PPP. She is a nurse, recognized the signs, reached out for help. Not one provider said,”Listen, I know you don’t want to give up breastfeeding-but if the PPD/PPP symptoms are so bad, this is a possibility. As a nurse-she saw it as a temporary problem. No need to exacerbate the issue by telling the providers she was having thoughts of harming the kids-why get CPS involved if this is just a temporary problem? There is so much pressure put on women to be perfect mothers and do everything perfect perfectly and to the point where we neglect ourselves and our own needs. i’m not just blindly defending her… I just think that there are so many women that have had postpartum depression so they empathize… It’s not defending her. It’s emphasizing the fact that the way women’s healthcare is in the United States versus other countries for postpartum care is complete trash and that alone was a huge contributing factor here. If there was a non-punitive system in place where women could freely talk about their postpartum feelings that would be very helpful. Add to the fact that nobody trusts their healthcare providers anymore.. There are so many girlfriends I’ve had tell me the intrusive/irrational thoughts they’ve had since this case has been publicized. I didn’t know how common it is. At the end of the day there are 0 winners. Very sad all around.

my minor was psych. i obviously don't use it for anything but I can say with confidence of someone who took a LOT of abnormal.psych classes, hearing voices doesn't make you kill. you have to WANT to do it

The people who feel sorry for her are being selfish. Kids are dead. She was a nurse who pill shopped and doctor shopped. Just because I don’t like the cancer diagnoses doesn’t mean i keep looking for another doctors until they tell me what i want to hear.

1. The timing of when her "confession" was heard and who claimed she said it. 2. How did her core temp drop to 82° in an hour? I have seen 2 separate cardiovascular perfusionists say this is scientifically impossible. 3. No pharmacist will ever tell someone to give a controlled substance to someone else and new ones will be issued, especially just for a dosage change. Most insurance won't pay for a new one like that either. 4. Patrick testified that he never actually went into the bedroom more than a few steps. So how would he know what was in the cup? The cup that was never even tested but everyone who testified that mentioned it included the words "Patrick said/told me..."

And there wasn’t that energy for Chad Doerman who committed the same crime due to PTSD. I saw an interesting take on this also-if her insanity defense is successful, how might that affect women moving forward, employers wondering if female employees are “hormonal”, men going through divorce might weaponize “hormones” to get custody, a woman seeking the highest office and control the nuclear launch codes, what if she’s “hormonal”. Sorry I think this sets women back decades.

I think they're actually is a pretty interesting conversation to be had about how our nation's health Care system handles women's with mental health and postpartum and depression. unfortunately, much of the conversation on this app about this case are mostly women claiming that Lindsay didn't even do the crime. that it was her husband and somehow he's still manipulating her 3 years and change later. we're talking flat earther territory
