Elain is such a gentle, soft-hearted character, and it’s almost cruel how fate chose her mate for her while her own heart seemed to choose Azriel. And somehow, even nature itself doesn’t seem to be on her side .the flowers she nurtures, the garden she loves, everything that should feel gentle and alive around her seems to reflect how little the world is willing to give her what she actually wants. It makes her story so tragic because she’s not asking for anything complicated; she just wants to follow her heart. Yet fate, the bond, and even nature seem determined to tell her otherwise.idk but I know in my heart that her book whould be my favorite 😭
