I genuinely think cia sources inside Russia heard that Putin was heavily considering using nukes and that’s why Ratcliffe went. Chinas now involved which means Putin wanted to escalate and china isn’t letting him.

This administration has known this all along. That Russia is not looking for a peace deal, but to take what they have now, and expand further. This is why the administration has been disassembling the BRICS. China has dialed back a little bit, North Korea is getting pressure on the good side, but we know this administration likes to move back-and-forth between carrot and stick. Venezuela has been toppled. Cuba is not far behind, and it wouldn’t take much to finish off Iran. Once the partners and proxies are flipped or eliminated, Russia is in a very dark place. Don’t look at the individual moves on the board, take a step back and look at the long game.
