@travelwithmeko: I ran from the Bronx to Manhattan for 15 miles 🏃🏽♀️🗽 You can plan the perfect run, but things don’t always go as planned. Running in the heat is BRUTAL for me, and today it definitely slowed me down. By mile 13, I had a decision to make: give up completely or adjust the plan. So I adjusted. I finished my last 2 miles inside on the treadmill. One thing marathon training continues to teach me is that long-distance running isn’t always about hitting a certain pace or having the perfect run. Sometimes it’s about endurance, adapting when things get hard, and finding a way to finish what you started. The plan changed. The goal didn’t. 🐶 Puppies need a home!
