this has always been one of my reasons im not having kids. I didnt want to teach my children to avoid SA. didnt want to teach them how to not SA others.

I think this was the OPPOSITE for me, my Mom was molested by a family member and we weren’t allowed to do A LOT of things, so instead of regret she be OVERPROTECTIVE towards her two girls, I understand this Mom wholeheartedly, and wish her PEACE

I feel this. A family members child was placed with me and all of the trauma that came up was hard. That is when I decided not to have kids of my own.
