Apparently oda forgot about her Nika form she used a few days ago, the fact she could turn Jarul/Gaban back to their prime, and then made her frightened by a fodder lighting cloud after putting hands on st Saturn 😭

Oda didn’t forget. It’s a choice. Bonnie achieved her dream. She is reunited with her father. She is with vegapunk to help restore him. I love the fact that we haven’t seen her age up since reunited with Kuma. Plus being with her dad again has probably made her feel like a child again. So if she can’t imagine being a grown up again. Then she can’t.

Wouldn’t that go against one of the major themes of One Piece? In a story centered around a new generation literally fighting to make the world a better place and rebel against the rules and traditions of the past, it would suck if a plot got resolved by just giving power back to the old generation and saying “here, now you beat up the bad guys for us.” Powerscaling is fun to talk about casually and all that, but it’s a terrible way to write a good story.
