My issue is that Patrick was never properly investigated as an alternative. Within 24 hours, police had already obtained an arrest warrant for Lindsay and were treating her as the person who did it. From that point, they seem to have built the case around Patrick’s version instead of independently testing whether his version was actually true. That’s exactly why I have such a problem with the investigation. He stated everyone was fine prior to 5.15pm. tgere is no evidence of that other than his word. he arrived home sometime between 6.04 and 6.09 where he called Lindsay. the first responders arrived on site around 6.17pm. there's no evidence of what happened prior to him leaving to him arriving amd there is no time of death established for the kids. this is the problem. he has a alibi for a particular part of the night, but there no evidence as to WHEN everything happened.

I think an alarming part of this is people believing that just because evidence or record keeping isn’t released to the public, it doesn’t exist. The public is not entitled to see every single thing. Even laws mandating police files be made available have limits.

You can think Patrick was a shitty husband. I think he was deeply uninvolved in Lindsay’s care based on his testimony and his lack to attention to his wife’s health contributed to what happened. Doesn’t make him a murderer

There is nothing you can say to the Lindsay cult that will shake their confirmation bias. At this point, we could have video evidence of her strangling the kids and they'd dismiss it (and probably follow it up with 'but what did he do to get her like that')

Bro. Her phone was locked at 5:13. Her phone call back to him was from a locked phone so anyone with two thumbs could have done it and she had a boatload of sedatives in her system. Who the flip knows when she went out the window, who knows when the older kids were killed. We don’t even know if the person who called in Lindsay’s order was Lindsay because it’s not like the clerk is a close personal friend of hers. There’s no blood on the window sash or the screen so she opened the window before she started cutting herself? No wondering why there aren’t any footprints in her blood when she clearly had to walk through them to get past the bed? No testing of what’s in the cup? And she walked past the window that’s not behind the bed to do it? Sure, they checked his alibi but they just ignored everything that hinted that alibi might have been contrived. You have to set your phone up to call back from a locked screen. That’s not normal, that’s a red flag right there. When did she walk up the stairs? Oh a minute after Patrick entered and exited the cvs, how does a device sense elevation? How long does it take to log it? Oh the barometric altimeter in the device will think you’ve gone higher after air pressure drops, so if you walk under blowers then walk into a shop it will trigger a flight climb to be recorded a minute later. Another red flag. Oh when Lindsay took off her watch mid killings her heart rate suggested sleep? No, they didn’t investigate him beyond saying his alibi checks out, the rest of it is crazy. They didn’t even find the searches about disabling the air bags in a Kia Sorrento. I wouldn’t trust the Mass police to find their own thumb shoved up their ass.
