Answer : In the beginning God created the heaven means God gave the place he lived before creation a name after separating the firmament from the land and the waters. If I live in a place that has no name - and I later gave the place a name like heaven - will you now say I didnt live in heaven before it was created because it wasn't called heaven then. Heaven, lands, Seas all existed before creation but they were not called those names then. There are things God created by saying "Let there be.... (these are things that never existed before creation) and there are some things he created by setting boundaries or dividing the waters that existed before from the lands that existed before creation and gave them names to differentiate them for the benefit of the man he purposed to create
