Christopher Gordon :
OMG... if I had a penny for every time I was yelled at or told that I asked too many questions, I'd literally be a millionaire! lol Every time my class or a group session had to listen to a speaker and we'd be allowed to leave as soon as the lecture was over, everyone would end up so angry with me because, I'd always ask questions that made 30 minute sessions last 45 minutes to an hour or more. I've always been this way, if I didn't fully understand what was being said, then I'd ask for examples or to elaborate. This always infuriated everyone, even when my questions would help further their understanding, they'd still always approach me later and vent their frustrations. I didn't care and I still don't. Later in life, when I would train someone and I could tell when they didn't understand me, I'd always tell them, “I hate it when someone nods their head in understanding, or says they got it when they actually don't. I'd rather you ask me 100 questions now and actually understand, then lie to me and end up asking me or another employee tons of questions later or worse in, hurt yourself!”. That usually works and they all end up asking me tons of questions and end up doing a good job.
