I actually do understand this, following first through faith. I may not agree with everything i see in the Bible, but I am viewing it through my infinitely small viewpoint.... one day when we are with him I believe we will understand the reasoning behind it, and agree with him then.... like a child being told to do something by their parents, and doing it even if they dont understand why.

Is jesus the author of the Bible? i thought it was the prophets, Apostles, saints and many other. I mean like they did write what Jesus was saying but Jesus didn't write it. I don't disrespect im just confused and I'm also a Christian

Anyone who tells you that you have to blindly agree with everything is a wolf in sheep's clothing and they'll sooner lead you astray than shake your hand. Faith isn't about compliance and conformity, it's about trust and respect for our savior and even though we're flawed and sin every day our fruit will show what our faith is built on.

Kinda off topic but I find it crazy how if God punishes those who sin against him the atheists get mad and say he’s a bad God, but when God is kind and loving to those to hurt him they say he doesn’t do anything to stop them from sinning. They obviously just dislike God cause he doesn’t fit their narrative of what God should act like.

Wow this helped a lot! That’s why God gave us the Fruits of the Spirt. But we’d never be perfect. Remember works don’t get you to heaven. It’s through Jesus and knowing he died on that cross for your sins.
