Right since not a single comment answered you, I will. Not here to force you to believe my stuff you just asked a question. Got created the “seed” in Mary ( seed meaning an egg that is fruitful ) so we cannot use our term “impregnated" because that involves sexual acts. Now the reason why is because, there needed to be a sacrifice that was born NORMALLY, there needed to be an entire process. Baby Jesus needed to be an actual ( normal baby ). There were prophecies that were made about a virgin conception. It not only showed Divin Love it showed God humbling himself and taking the whole human process. Another question you may have is “if he wanted to take the whole human process, why didn’t he have sex with Mary?” Because the child needed to be born sinless and remain so. Sex is originally a sin and even tho between husband and wife it isn’t. It is still an “unclean” act that God wouldn’t do. P.S: some people in the comment section are saying this is all made up. I understand that. If I may, what evidence do you have that shows that these are stories ?

The key idea is that, in Christianity, Jesus wasn’t supposed to just show up as a newly created man. He was supposed to truly enter the human family. God absolutely could have formed a body from dust, like Adam. But Christians believe the Incarnation means the eternal Son genuinely became human: conceived in Mary, born from her, growing up as a child, and sharing our human nature while still being divine. That’s also why the New Testament calls Jesus the “last Adam” or “second Adam.” Adam begins humanity; Jesus enters humanity after the Fall and restores what Adam’s sin damaged. Paul makes that comparison especially in Romans 5 and 1 Corinthians 15. Mary matters because Jesus is also meant to be genuinely connected to Israel and to the promises about David’s line. He isn’t presented as a totally separate human being created outside of humanity’s existing story. And one important correction to the wording: Christianity doesn’t teach that God “impregnated” Mary through sex. Luke describes it as a miraculous conception: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you” (Luke 1:35). There’s no sexual act involved in Christian teaching. There’s also a deeper biblical pattern Christians have seen for centuries: Adam comes from the earth, while Christ comes through a woman. Early Christians even contrasted Eve and Mary—Eve’s disobedience is tied to the Fall, while Mary’s “let it be to me according to your word” is tied to the beginning of redemption. So the simplest answer is: God could have made Jesus from dust, but chose for him to be born of Mary because salvation wasn’t just about creating another man—it was about God actually entering and taking on our humanity.
