@drerinsheffield: I had a strange satisfaction the other day when my OB colleague told me, “You know what, patients often tell me they’d rather be having a tooth pulled than be here!” And I was shocked. But pleased. Because I get told all the time they’d rather have a baby than see me. I didn’t think anyone would choose me over those stirrups even with the cold and pinchy speculum. It kinda hurts my feelings when they say that because it was 9 months of hard work, a painful process to deliver, and a lifetime of hard work and worry… 😂 #pregnancy #childbirth #oralsurgery #dentist
