This is so true. I visited Delhi once. I walked around the spice market near the red fort all excited and fascinated, then a couple hours later I went behind a building and bawled my eyes out from all the poverty. I saw a kid walk by me with dirty clothes and no shoes and I lost it. India is a rollercoaster of emotions.
