Anyone saying "its still would be 4-2" doesnt understand the game, it was 1-1 when the incident happens, it kills momentum. Ipswich will have felt in the moment cheated and rightfully so. Disgraceful.

I remember United going out of the FA Cup to a Watmore handball which was fine cos he assisted the goal. Everyone went "unlucky, but the rules are the rules". Same applies here, sooooooooo unlucky 👏

the laws do not say that if it deflects off a defender the goal can no be allowed. they're silent on that part, but if we consider the intent of the law there's no reason to think the deflection changes anything. Should have been disallowed
