Folks I travel, hike, camp and in my retirement I evaluate where I hike or camp… People seem not to weigh the pros and cons. Fall activity are not the same as other seasons for the same camp or hiking trails… not sure why the trails and camping area was open… I was at Canyon back in 1970, the Park closed trails to several areas back then based on weather conditions…
