Unpopular opinion: Babies don’t belong as music festivals. If you can afford Daisy Chain you can afford a sitter for a night. Crowd crush is a risk anywhere and bringing a baby into that is child endangerment imo

honestly, the kid isn’t even the problem. it’s the fact that this group of ADULTS escalated a situation and then went back for round two in the lot??

As a mom I’d never put my kids in that position, but I also don’t think kids shouldn’t ever go to a concert or festival especially if it’s a family friendly event. But also you have to plan and prepare and do it safely. You don’t need to fight to front row or sit in the middle of a very crowded spot. Find the place where there’s space and it’s more chill farther back or in a concert setting be in the seated area. You don’t have to be there the whole time, you have to choose a venue that’s safe and easy to navigate and prepare to have to miss things or leave early. And ALWAYS bring ear protection. We have to bring ear protection even to like baseball games or the fair because it can get loud and our kids literally cover their ears at the announcements. It helps so much with the overwhelm/overstimulation and allows them to have more fun. My kids haven’t been to like a big concert but our ampitheater at the park sometimes has concerts (we’ve done Charlie puth and the eras tribute band). The eras thing was basically just for kids and was over before dark, Charlie puth was a blast but my daughter got tired and we left to the car during the last song. Someone was actually really weird and rude fighting her way in front of people and kept standing directly in front of us way too close (she was an older lady like creepy obsessed with charlie, she had a weird sign and everything), i could have gotten mad and fought her, but guess what i did? I notified security because she was making us uncomfortable and I just backed up farther to get away from her and had a blast with the family behind us who also gave my daughter glow sticks and we all danced and had fun

Guys this may be very anti woman of me but children do not need to be in every single space. This is not a theme park, it’s a festival in 98 degree weather. Moms deserve a break too! Leave the kids at home… IT IS SAFER.
