Zion Gibbs, 22, of Lorton, has been arrested on charges of several counts of destruction of property and wearing a mask in public. He’s being held without bond, Fairfax County police said in a news release. Since July 9, a masked person has gone to a homeowner’s community center on Lorton Station Boulevard and “committed six destruction of property incidents,” including damaging windows using rocks, a hammer and cinder blocks, police said. Surveillance footage showed a person wearing a “Scream”-style mask, black robe, fluorescent gloves and white shoes with fluorescent laces. Detectives surveilled the community center on Aug. 17 and saw Gibbs walking in the area just before 4:30 a.m. He returned wearing the costume police said was worn during previous incidents.
