The number of times people assume we are wizards is too high. Working at a call center is so much worse in some ways because while dealing with an angry person over the phone is easier than those working retail, explaining how to use technology through verbal communication to people who don't understand basic phone manipulation is an absolute nightmare.😂

I had a customer come to my store insisting that AI told him we had a replacement part for a remote control he purchased in 1992... before our company was even in business, made by a manufacturer we dont carry 🙄

Had a guy pissed at me because I couldn’t set up Face ID for him (because yanno I’m not him), and when I told him he just follows the prompts he said “I DONT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, THAT’S WHAT YOU ARE FOR.” 🙄

my wife's phone screen shattered but the phone still came on.. I did the USB c to HDMI thing.. luckily the screens touch sensing still worked. had to guess where the pin numbers were.. but eventually got it to back up her info to the cloud and to the new phone. was a pain in my ass
