That was my tail that got ripped, he told me that it was going to be a skit in a YouTube video showing how good the fandom is, when it ripped it was not expected but I knew there were risks, he offered to pay for it but then wouldent give me any of his socials or ways to contact him and proceeded to say “I haven’t even made my channel yet this is my first video so I don’t have anything for you to follow” me and my friends are pretty sure he just didint want us to be able to contact him or see what he acually did with the footage, he also filmed with my other friend an argument skit that he never posted and did a proper good interview with my other friend that also was never posted

This is the stuff that scares me when it comes to the idea of going to a convention. As i haven't been to one yet. I will say it does shock me and or I struggle to comprehend that someone would even be willing to do that to someone else. I just don't see why you'd hurt someone else or damage their property just for views. It's sad as i do love this community. I hate that this happens. I do think its great that we stand to help each other out.
