Love how everyone's blaming the gov.... when in reality, it was the stupid people doing whatever they want on them ruining it for everyone. bad eggs always ruin it for everyone. thats why theyre cracking down. in the area I live in, kids are zooming way faster than the 40 speed limit, zipping between cars, and pulling out in front of cars, expecting the car to stop. they ride on the road and act like they own it. im all for this because I wont get hit with a fine as mine doesn't go faster than 25km, I wear a helmet and even hi vis vest when riding at dusk/evening and i dont ride my scooter while under the influence. I ride on the footpath, and ring my bell to let people know im approaching. I slow down around people, and even stop and walk my scooter past elderly, disabled and to cross busy roads. its really not hard to be a good citizen. dont be selfish...

This makes no sense at all. so you're telling me a 16-year-old can get an apprenticeship for being would have a job like a pilot, an engineer, a car mechanic, anything really they can even get their car learners. they can do so much but they can't ride an e-bike They can ride a bike They can fly a plane. they can do so much but they can't ride an e-bike. make that make sense
