absolutely terrible but exactly you can't change their mind sets I've been all over weight wise in my life. My father (who is Greek) said to me after not seeing me for years, as soon as he got off the flight ( I was a young teen at the time) "ακόμα δεν έχασες κιλά? " and when I lost a lot of weight " φαίνεσαι άρρωστη, μην χάσεις παραπάνω "

Omg girl 😭😭 I can relate to this so much. Growing up a overweight, I heard comments about my body my entire life, and I know how deeply those words can affect you. Now, anyone who comments on my children’s weight whether they call them skinny, chubby or anything else will be hearing from me, and I will not stay quiet. Unfortunately, some older generations are stuck in their ways, but I’ll always defend my children and make sure they never feel ashamed of their bodies 🤍

My husband is Afghan and his best friend is Macedonian, we just attended his baby girls christening and my husbands a stocky guy, every one of the bfs maco elders told my husband how fat he was it was fucking horrible 😂
