Could it be discoloration from rubbing against the screw on part of the bottle. Like the metal scrapped along the inside of the lid? 🤔🤷♀️

The little grey round rubber piece inside the lid can mold too. Always take that out to clean. Run all parts thru the dishwasher.

Do you let them dry completely before using again? My boys have had owalas for a while now and we haven’t had any issues. They each have two.

❤️Take the ring out. Wash them with Distilled Vinegar. Soak them in in then rinse with filtered water. You’re going to have to clean them often no matter what name brand you use!❤️

I think you could just replace the Lid. They have some on Amazon and also get a metal straw from there.

Wash with some vinegar water and a toothbrush, and with a straw brush, I always rinse with cold water, hot/warm breeds yuck.
