i hated invisaligns & ended up not wearing them, i work with people and it made me have lisp, i got damon braces instead, so much better, only thing good about invisalign was that i could brush and floss every crevice of my teeth, with braces i can’t, or i can but it’s way harder

Don’t stress about it. Live your life. I drank with them in. Took them out to eat then swished with water and put them back in. When I got home I brushed my teeth. People make it such a hastle when it doesn’t have to be

Change your trays at night before bed so most of the pain from the initial shift is while you’re asleep!

I’m a few weeks from being done 🙌🏼. Get a few extra cases off Amazon. Keep one In the car, In your bag etc so you always have a place to put them instead of wrapping in a napkin so you don’t accidentally throw them out. Get an ultrasonic cleaner and tablets, and clean every night before bed.

I regret my invisalign and shouldve just done braces instead. I don"t get to enjoy my coffee or snacks or even meals. You have to eat/drink everything so fast and get your aligners back in your mouth asap. So instead of sipping my coffee over a couple hours i have to chug it in 10 minutes. You'll experience pain every 2 weeks instead of every month or so. You can forget to change your aligners or you can break or lose then which can all set you back weeks of time. They dont tell you you could still end up with glued on "brackets" and even rubber bands until the day you get your first trays

the day you get them and swap into new trays is not too bad, HOWEVER, the following day is ROUGH. My teeth were super sensitive and I could only eat soft food without pain. still would recommend tho

Use ur chews, change trays before sleep, definitely buy canker sore gel, buy a water flosser, Colgate wisps, have multiple tray containers u never know when u need to take them out have a on the go pack, lip balm is ur new friend along with Advil on tray change day, never change ur aligners sooner then they tell u and if a yay is not fitting go back to ur old set for a few days and try the new one again

I'm on tray 5 & considering braces. The constant brushing & popping them in & out & in & out is so annoying. But if you plan to keep them one of those lil ultrasonic cleaners is a must.

The attachments (that they glue to your teeth) might cut up your mouth while you eat for about a week, then they’ll dull down and you’ll be fine. Don’t panic if that happens at first!

Travel toothbrush/paste, floss picks and mouthwash :) and the lil remover tool from Amazon! Search “clear aligner removal tool” will save your finger nails! Dental assistant who also went through Invisalign! It’s so much better than braces!
