I just got my drivers license at 23 🥲 I left at 17 with nothing and still trauma bonded to my dad so I would pay all his bills and buy him groceries. It took me until I had my first to stop. Now he has kidney cancer and asked me if I can give him a kidney and I told him no. He told me women shouldn’t drive. I even bought my first car at 16 and went through drivers Ed but he wouldn’t let me get my license. I wanted to learn how to work on cars and my dad knows everything about cars and he told me no. I wanted to learn so I could be useful and now I’m learning so I’m not useless to my children
