Here’s a simple example: You buy 100 coins at $5.25 You spend $525 Later, the price goes to $13 Your 100 coins are now worth $1,300 Your profit is $775 If you wanted to take out just that profit, you’d sell about 60 coins at $13 each. That gives you about $780 before fees or taxes, and you’d still own about 40 coins. That’s one way people “take profits” while still keeping some of their crypto.
