I think the nuke was fake, if you go back to when Juliet went out when she walks over the berm you can still see LA in the background, so the nuke never actually blew up…..

I think the nuke was real. if a nuke targeted Atlanta there would be a good chance of global thermonuclear war. this whole thing is a form of eugenics where the survivors in the silos and their descendents were hand picked to build civilization anew. I have not read the books

it's crazy they added Helen to this and she isn't in the book she is annoying. Hopefully they go by the book in season 4 where they can dismantle silo 1 and the nanites in the air lose power so they can stop unaliving people when they step outside the silo and everyone will be free soon. Oops did I just spoil the ending dang😂😂😂and the outside world is just fine they cut off the area where the silos at and got nanites as guard dogs for whoever steps out
