It’s not that we truly forget about these people. Sometimes, we just force ourselves to stop remembering. 😭😭And then, out of nowhere, the smallest things bring them back to mind. Honestly, the hardest part isn’t letting them go its the memories. 😭😭Because you can accept that someone is no longer part of your life, but you can’t always control when a memory of them comes rushing back.😩😩 And today, I was at a shop and I saw something really cute.😍😍And immediately, I thought, “They would have loved this.” It was such a small, random moment, but it got me.😭😭I actually couldn’t buy it because I knew I’d be buying it with them in mind, and then I’d have to go home with that memory. So I just stood there for a moment, smiled, and left it. Sometimes, getting over someone isn’t about forgetting them. It’s about learning what to do when little pieces of them still find you in the most unexpected places.😩😩
