Imagine you had to make a game that works on specific set hardware... like an Xbox or a PlayStation? Easy, just meet the specifications. Now imagine you had to make a game that works on a machine that constantly has parts being ripped out and replaced every 2 weeks... like a pc? Not easy because you don't have to match the specifications, you have to match 100 specifications that are interchangeable.

Yall it really isn’t that complicated. Its not because Rockstar is “greedy” or because they’re worried about hacking. Literally the only reason is because Sony has ownership (at least temporarily) of the exclusive rights. Often those exclusivity rights end after a year or so, which is when the game would come to other platforms. Its just marketing thing for Sony and thats all there is to it.
