@startoverstrategy: Entrepreneurship can be cringe. A successful entrepreneur said that to someone I know this week, and I immediately thought: Yep. That’s it. 😂 Putting yourself all over social media when you’re not sure anyone cares. Fumbling a promising lead. Giving a quote and realizing you dramatically underestimated how long the job would take. Confidently answering, “What do you do?” while internally thinking, I am literally figuring this out as I go. Discovering approximately 47 new things you didn’t know you didn’t know. Being visible before you feel ready. Selling before you feel confident. Learning in public. It’s cringe. And I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else. After an unexpected surgery and job loss, I didn’t exactly ease gracefully into entrepreneurship. I wanted to build a business, but circumstances also pushed me into giving myself a job before I felt completely ready. So here I am—a divorced former tradwife building a business, making mistakes, figuring things out, getting better, and doing the uncomfortable things anyway. Because I’d rather tolerate the cringe of building something than stay stuck because I was afraid to look inexperienced. Welcome to my cringe entrepreneurship journey. I’m documenting the whole thing. #StartOverStrategy #DivorcedFormerTradwife #EntrepreneurshipJourney #ServiceBasedBusiness #WomenInBusiness

Pricing my services at my worth is 💀💀💀 CRINGE and I second guess myself, but if I don’t, I won’t be able to afford to run the business and make a profit that is a livable wage, so it very much is a trust-the-process and fake it moment when I increased my prices this year launching my business instead of keeping the freelancer prices I did while doing the same work professionally.
