I keep seeing people save giant prompt lists, then forget where they put them. prompts.chat fixes that in a much simpler way. it is a free, open-source prompt library you can browse on the web, run from the terminal, or connect directly to Claude Code through MCP. that means Claude can search the library and retrieve a useful prompt while you are already working. no digging through old notes. no copying half-remembered templates from bookmarked posts. the repository also includes two Agent Skills. prompt-lookup searches the prompt catalog. skill-lookup searches for reusable skills and retrieves their files when you decide to install one. one correction to the reel: the MCP server does not magically choose the best prompt on every task.
