@sophiesalterego7: ⚠️ I have realized after posting this I have gotten some things wrong, so if do your own research about what you need just in case I got it wrong. I’ll attempt to make another one sometime soon with more and better information ⚠️ i wanted to write this ‘little’ note in the caption just to clear up why I really made this. i used to be OBSESSED with COD, characters and storyline. since i have gotten back into it, I’ve come across more and more toxic people (which, in reality, will never not happen, in any fandom). and since the word ‘larp’ has been being thrown around carelessly, i would like to butt in and say that you are not a larper for liking these games just for the storylines and or characters. buttt, I would also like to say (and this is why i made this), if you are new, it wouldn’t hurt to inform yourself on some basic lore! each character is very complex and with how large this fandom is, people spread misinformation quick and toxic people don’t correct people, instead they just bully. every fandom will experience headcannoning and will have their own OCs, etc. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! in fact i have my own OC: Blair ‘Jet’ Hathoway. but like every fandom, there are the people who have simply no whimsy and or cannot stand these types of things (which, in all fairness, can be irritating sometimes). it is important to be able to diverge between what is canon and what is simply a hc or fandom made. like there are no confirmed ships (beside Laswell and her wife), but there are plenty of headcannons for ships! i simply made this little guide with a few misconceptions that I’ve seen throughout the last week and thought I’d make a little educational slideshow 🤗 I’m a firm believer of having safe fandoms and communities, and COD has been one of the worst fandoms i have experienced. there is nothing wrong with not knowing the whole lore to a character and or game, and there is no shame in never not have playing the game. so remember that the next time someone calls you a larper or you think about calling someone that ୨ৎ ⫘⫘⫘ ⫘⫘⫘ ⫘⫘⫘ ⫘⫘⫘ 𝖳𝖠𝖦𝖲 #callofduty #fandomknowledge #fypシ #simonghostriley #fypシ゚viral
