The Hal Jordan HATE is just wild to be honest. Great episode but making Hal out to be this entitled and privileged guy is just bad writing. Hal went through trails and he’s a pilot so he faces fear all the time. He has the STRONGEST will of all lanterns. 7/10 Ep

They’re leaning too much into the “lack of fear” of it all. Green is will power not just courage. I think THAT is what Hal will teach John in the end. That you can be fearless all you want but without will power it doesn’t make you worthy to be a Lantern, no matter what the guardians think. The guardians are the checks and the lanterns are the balances of the universe so they have to be in conflict, much like Sith and Jedi are to the force. Balance is key. The universe is indifferent so cold and calculated has to be offset by immovable morality (will power).
