@riuei: Last Saturday, my partner, my two bosses, and I had lunch at a hotpot place in Paseo before playing board games. Everything was completely fine… until we got to the coffee shop. My stomach suddenly started rumbling. I thought it was just because of the coffee. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We eventually went home, but that’s when everything got worse. I couldn’t stop going to the CR, and my stomach started hurting so badly. Then around 2 AM, I woke up with chills and a VERY high fever. The stomach cramps became unbearable. I was literally crying from the pain and kept waking up throughout the night. The next morning, my partner told me he was also experiencing a high fever and severe stomach pain. We both thought maybe it was because of the heavy rain the day before, so we slept almost the entire day. Then around 4 PM, my boss messaged me. He had been sent to the ER because of severe stomach pain and fever. That’s when we realized… something was definitely not right. We immediately contacted our other boss, and the next day, he told us that he was experiencing the SAME symptoms — muscle pain, stomach pain, and high fever. And apparently, someone from another table at the same restaurant was experiencing similar symptoms too. Now it’s Monday. My fever has subsided, but I’m still dealing with stomach pain and worsening cramps. My partner and my boss are still experiencing fever, severe stomach cramps, and diarrhea. What was supposed to be a fun Saturday turned into something genuinely traumatic. We understand that food establishments can have unexpected incidents, but food safety should ALWAYS be a priority. Customers deserve not only good food and good service, but food that is safe to eat. We WILL be filing a complaint and having this properly addressed. Food safety is not something that should ever be taken lightly. #fyp
