@moji.learnjapanesedaily: You use content you already understand because you’re not learning new vocab here. You’re training recognition speed for words you already know. That’s the real bottleneck for most intermediate learners. Not vocab. Speed. The transcript closes the loop. When you miss a word, checking the text tells your brain what that blurry sound actually was, so next time it’s clearer. And dropping back to 1x is the contrast effect. After working at 1.5x, normal speech feels like it has extra room in it. That feeling is real. Your processing got faster and normal speed didn’t change. A lot of people use this exact method to pass N1 listening. Do it a little every day, not in big sessions. Listening speed builds with consistent exposure. #fyp #learnjapanese #jlpt #japanesestudy #LanguageLearning
