I always have a scope change clause in my contracts. That and the payment terms clause are the only two I literally have a meeting with the client to explain every detail.

that’s why i put in my contract “flat rate with 2 rounds of revisions included” anything after that is $50 an hour

revision can also be a change and adjustment, not necessarily new scope, and not necessarily fixing something that you did. A lot of visions have an adjustment because the customer realize something they needed that was different, but not enough to justify new scope.
