For the last few months (probably more like a year) I’ve been struggling with jeans. My body changed, and my brain just could not catch up. I don’t look like I did in high school… or even college, but for some reason I kept expecting my jeans to. I got stuck in this loop of ordering my “usual” size, feeling uncomfortable when they didn’t fit, and then beating myself up about it. It was honestly scary to feel like I didn’t know what my body looked like anymore. So… I finally sized up. And not only does a bigger size actually flatter me, but I also don’t feel the need to unbutton my jeans every time I sit down or eat bread 😃 My body wasn’t the problem — the jeans were.
