Reminds me of a kdrama (name: The Effect of One Night on Parting or Effect of a Finger Flick) where the FL broke up w/ her bf bc he flicked her too hard every time & never was gentle towards her until she grew tired of it. He would only seek her out when he wanted her physically but lacked genuine care so FL left him & eventually ended up w/ someone else. The ex was angry bc he didn't understand why she left until he flicked her hard again after they broke up & she finally yelled the truth.
