This is a warning from God. Please listen carefully until the end. One night, I had a dream that I was standing at the gates of heaven. An angel looked at me and said: “Your name has been blotted out of the book of life.” I froze completely. Because from childhood until now, I had always been in church. I worked hard to serve, and I always thought that I should be able to enter heaven. I knew I was not perfect, but I thought in my heart: “Who is perfect anyway?” But then, I saw my pastor, and I also saw my closest Christian friends. I thought they would surely enter, but they were also stopped outside the gate. I began to cry and defend myself: “But I have served! I have prayed, I have read the Bible, and I believe in Jesus!” But that dream showed me a side of myself that I had never wanted to face. I saw myself judging others behind their backs. I prayed for God to bless people with my lips, but in my heart I was unwilling to let God change me. I read the Bible, but I was unwilling to obey it. I lied for my own benefit, hurt my family, and lived in jealousy, comparison and sin. My heart was far away from God. I cried and said: “Lord, I am willing to repent now! Please give me another chance!” Then I heard a voice say: “You had many opportunities before, but again and again you chose to delay.” At that moment, I woke up. I knew it was only a dream. I do not take dreams as revelation outside of the Bible. But this dream made me seriously think about one thing: If today were the day I stood before the Lord, would I truly be prepared? Because Jesus said: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 KJV, So we need to seriously ask ourselves: Is Christ truly in our lives? Have we truly repented? Have we turned away from sin? Are we obeying God’s Word? Do not wait until the end. If this message has also reminded you, write: “Lord, I am willing to turn back to You.” And share it with someone you love. If you desire to study the Bible more deeply, understand what true repentance is, learn how to break free from sin, and prepare yourself for the return of the Lord Jesus, you are welcome to join our free online Bible study group.
