put like $6k aside then start investing. whatever amount you can comfortably put away every month, split 50% in Roth and 50% in brokerage. gives you some retirement, gives you some investing that you can cash out if you absolutely have to. tbh, you're never truly behind in your 20s, it's how you start. look at it this way $50 in an s&p 500 fund that sat there for 40 years would be ~2600. if you did the same thing but waited 10 years, that same 50 is ~990. moral of the story, don't compare, just start and do you. 😎
