The best well rounded fullback in history does everything you want a fullback to, especially excels in all the little areas that go un notice. Is he the best no is he the most influential no but panthers would have not achieved greatness with out him at the back.

its a team game. you can't just take team achievements at face value like that. the greatest fullbacks were absolute game changers constantly all year through the season, finals and rep footy. Cleary is that guy. Edwards is just there a lot of the time.

He’s a soldier, he just gets on with the job he has to do. He’s no flash in the pan that will set a highlight reel on fires like your slater’s, Walsh etc. but I reckon he would be close to having the lowest missed tackle stats out of them all and that makes a top tier fullback and won’t make highlights

The reason nobody rates Edwards is because of Cleary. They call him a system player. Honestly though players like Dyl make Cleary a better player. Man is an elite fullback. You Kunce just don't want to admit it
