I love how the manhwa helps us understand both characters and feel bad for them but at the same time we’re praying they find a way to separate from each other. Welp, ending wasn’t bad. There was no other way it could end, sangwoo didn’t deserve to live and nothing justified his actions, bum could never live a good life unfortunately. I still hate that it ended so soon

I read this really really really old fanfic where they ended it differently, like Bum caught the old lady before she could suffocate Sangwoo, and then after some plot conveniences they escaped to a beach during a stormy weather and drowned themselves together in the end. I still try to look for it but I think the author deleted their account.
