I’d like to see them try a 4-1-4-1 in possession with Bellingham the left sided 10 and Guler the right sided 10 with Yan Diomamde providing space on the right. You can play centrally through the 3 in the middle or if forced wide you basically have a 2 on 1 with the 10’s in the half space. Defensively teams can go through the middle as you have 2 10’s and Mbappe can simply press them into going left or right as he wants. It leaves Valverde covering a large amount of ground but you could also help him by inverting the fullbacks occasionally.
